I’ve made these life rules for myself, because all the rules from social networks never worked for me. I’m not a fan of rules in general, so 7 is more than enough! Hope they work for you too!
- Question social norms and your own automatic (reactive) behavior
Break down your habits into triggers, routines, and rewards, and always strive to find the true reason behind people’s actions. First of all, your own.
- Learn to manage your questions
The right question already has the answer in it and bears a strong charge. Whether it will be positive or negative charge is up to you. Remember a simple formula: Wrong question -> wrong answer -> bad mood. The question determines your focus. For a long period of time.
- Revise your valuesÂ
Reevaluate the foundational principles of your own life and its directions. Do it often.
- Forget about self
At the most crucial and important moments, stop focusing on the “I”. When you are broken and all the circumstances are agains you – do something for the other, no matter what – big or small, just useful. This is what true Freedom is.
- Experience gratitude every day
If you do – fear and uncertainty, irritation and anger will pass away, and your life will start to have a meaning.
- Grow and do not wait for anyone
Whether you know it or not, many others follow you. If you stop, they will too stop, and then it is going to be more difficult for you to catch up with those who you follow.
- And remember, the next step is ALWAYS yours
Life is not a game of chess, and you are not a knight to wait for your turn and move only using the predefined path. Do not wait for apologies, do not wait for changes, do not wait for the right moments – they might never come, but you can turn the black streak white very quickly just by moving forward.
What about your rules? Do you have any?
